Mangaluru, Mar 10 : Post graduate students of Mangaluru university at Mangalagangothri campus took out a rally holding large country flag for unity on Wednesday, March 9. They shouted slogans against anti Indians on the way.

The students with 100 feet long flag gathered in large number near Mangala auditorium. Addressing the rally, post graduate student Sham said that attempts to destabilize the country in the name of personal freedom are on the rise. “Young students cannot tolerate their progress. Terrorists such as Afzal Guru are models for some. Is it fair to support those who give statements against the country” he asked in anguish.

Post graduate student Sukshitha speaking on the occasion, said that there are people who help those who give statements against the country. “It is shameful. We condemn the anti national work that is going on in JNU university of Delhi”, she said.

Student Puneeth opined that there are attempts to mislead students putting forward incidents such as Vemula and Kanayya and students should unite against it.

Mangauru university professor Balakrishna Rao said that love of motherland should increase among students. “In this connection the rally with the tricolor flag of India is meaningful”, he said.
