Mandya: Two-wheeler hits divider - both students lose lives

Mandya, Mar 14: Two students travelling by a motor bike were killed after their two-wheeler, which was speeding, hit a road divider at K Shettihalli in Srirangapatna taluk of the district on Sunday March 13.

The victims have been identified as Ayush Shetty (19), a resident of Vijayanagara in Bengaluru, and Tanmay Shetty (18), currently based in Guwahati, Assam. While Ayush died on the spot, Tanmay breathed his last when being taken to a hospital.

Both were students of Don Bosco College at Kumbalagodu. A case about the accident stands registered in the town police station here.
