Beltangady: Married woman abducted - hand of husband alleged

Beltangady, Mar 17: A woman living at Halepete Cross, Ujire, has been abducted. A complaint in this connection was filed in the police station here.
 
A woman named Harshita (26) has been kidnapped. The complainant has accused her husband, Taranath (28), and two others of committing this crime.
 
The marriage of Harshita and Taranath had been solemnized about two years back. Within months, Harshita started living at her parental home, having been frustrated by her husband's liquor and drug addiction, it is said. The couple quarreled frequently during the period they stayed together.
 
Since the last about three months, Harshita had started living with her husband. She was trying to get divorce from her husband, who works as a watchman. In her complaint, grandmother of the lady said that Taranath and two of his accomplices had kidnapped Harshita.
 
The police have registered a case, and begun investigation.
