Mangaluru: ICYM performs drama on life of John Marrie Vianney

Mangaluru, Mar 21: As the preparation for the Holy week and to propagate the Year of Mercy the central Council ICYM performed a drama based on the life of John Marrie Vianney the patron saint of priests and the instrument of Mercy on March 20 at Infant Jesus Church ground Modankap.





















More than 1,800 people witnessed the drama with a number of priests and religious.

The drama was written by Fr Ronald Serrao professor of St Joseph Seminary here, directed by John Permannur, organized by Fr Ronald Prakash D'Souza, director ICYM. They created history by priests acting along with the youth on stage.

Msgr Denis Moras Prabhu, vicar general of the city's diocese was present at the occasion.

President Alwyn Agrar welcomed all and secretary, Jackson presented the vote of thanks. Sanod Lobo compered the programme. The YCS team from Cordel parish performed the dance.
