LAR Nite in Karkala on Easter Sunday

Karkala, Mar 24: 'LAR Nite' yet another heart warming musical programme by Bindas Kalakar, Pernal will be presented on Easter Sunday, March 27 at 6.30 pm in Open Air Theatre at Madhuvan Gardens, Jodukatte, Karkala.

The programme a fellowship event is sponsored by Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy to help two children to get their medical treatment.


The limelight of the programme is the well known lyricist and composer Lloyd Austin Rego Taccode (Elyar Taccode). Lloyd Rego is already a heartthrob of youngsters with his beautiful and popular albums like Swapnam, Chandnem, Jaadu, Ye manaa, Xetam Merer, Udi Udi, Chandare, Yaad and many more. The songs in these albums and the songs to be presented during the nite were originally composed by Lloyd. He has teamed up with Roshan Anjelore, Eric Ozario and Roshan Crasta for tuning these songs. The original music was composed by Roshan Anjelore, Joel Pereira and Charan Kumar and Vanil Veigas.

Rajesh, Rajendra, Roshan Bela, Manoj Lobo and Edrin Moodbidri are the musicians for the LAR Nite. The budding singers of present day, Jerry Bajjodi, Melwin Antony, Arun Danthi, Herald Tauro, Johnson Lobo, Joel Attur, Nester Hospet, William Padrengi, Wilson Lasrado, Nihal Tauro, Joel Mathias, Priya Menezes, Senet D’cunha , Carol Danthi, Verona Ranger will perform with SOAD-4 ‘Rani Kogull’ Jacqueline Fernandes and Vishwa Konkani Ratn, Eric Ozario.

The programme will also witness a short-poetry by Wilson Kateel, Chikka Pangla and Elyar Thakode. Humour skits will be staged by Bindas Pernal, Dances will be performed by Godwin Sparkle and drawings will be presented by Wilson Kayyar. The Programme will be compered by Alwyn Danthi Pernal.

Roy Castelino the president of Karnataka, Konkani Sahitya Academy, Fr Jerome Monteiro the parish priest of Miyar church and Eric Ozario will be gracing this event.

Daniel Ranger and Joel Attur are the organisers of LAR Nite.
