Mangaluru, Mar 24: St Christopher association, here celebrated Easter by presenting gifts and rations to Prashanth Nivas at Jeppu.









The president of the association Raymond D'Cunha speaking on the occasion said, "This is what Christianity teaches. At the time of lent we Christians carry out acts of saving by sacrificing our luxuries. We remember our fellow beings and share what we have saved with them at the time of Easter. Prashanth Nivas Sisters are glorifying God through merciful acts shown to around 400 destitutes/inmates consisting of children right upto elderly people including mentally challenged males and females. We as individuals cannot do this. We should join the mission of these nuns through sharing."

The sister incharge, Sr Carmine explained the day-to-day curriculam of the association members. Inmate Lilly welcomed the gathering. Association secretary Denis D'Souza proposed the vote of thanks. Mother Superior, Sr Lucy and manager Praveen, along with others were present.
