Udupi: ICYM to host Anil Pangla Musical Nite on Easter

Udupi, Mar 25: The Indian Catholic Youth Movement, Pangla is all set to present the ‘Anil Pangla Musical Nite’ on the occasion of Easter on Sunday, March 27 at St John’s the Evangelist Church grounds, Pangla.

The event will be the maiden musical nite by Anil D’Sa.

The event will witness the release of ‘Haavn Tuzoch… Mora Pason’, the maiden Konkani album by Anil D’sa. The album consisting of eight Konkani tracks has been directed by Roshan D’Souza, Anjelore, recorded at Sandesha Mangalore and mastered by Nithin. Lyrics have been provided by Joel Pereira, Lloyd Rego, Irene D’souza and Walter Monteiro.

The musical nite will be a wholesome entertainment package of music, dance and humour. The music will be provided by renowned Roshan D’souza, Anjelore and team.

John Rodrigues and team will entertain the audience with their stand-up comedy while the members of ICYM Pangla will present dance on the occasion.

All the eight tracks from the album to be inaugurated will be sung on the occasion along with the famous tracks of Wilfy Remimbus as a tribute to the Konkani singing legend.

The singing team will comprise of Oliver Rebello, Andrew Mathais, Wilfred D’Sa, Melanie Lobo, Varun D’Sa, Babita Pinto and Prakash D’Souza.

Anil D’Sa, proprietor of Anil Sounds, Pangla is a renowned DJ, live music host and events manager. He has been working in the field of music for past 26 years where he has sung for many live shows and has contributed his voice to 58 albums. He is also the current president of ‘Parichay’ a stage for cultural arts, Pamboor.
