Kasargod, Apr 6: A youth employed in the Gulf region, who had married two days back, hanged himself in the bathroom at his home and committed suicide.
Shashidharan (30), son of Kumaran, a resident of Muriyanav in Kanhangad, chose to end his life in this way. He had married a girl from Kushalnagar in the hall of temple at Kovvalpalli on Sunday April 3.
On Tuesday, Shashidharan visited bathroom. As he did not come out even after a long time, the family members broke the door open. They found that Shashidharan had hanged himself from the ventilator of the bathroom.
In the report filed in Hosdurg police station, relatives of the victim said that the youth was suffering from depression. A case stands registered, and policemen are investigating.
