Udupi: Mother threatened as siblings fight on jeans pant issue

Udupi, Apr 7: It was not an issue between children, but between adults. The fight is between a sister and a brother. Mother who came in between them is a sufferer. The matter has reached the Manipal police station now.

Sarvodaya went to his elder sister’s house on April 5 morning and asked her to give his jeans pant which was bought during the marriage. When she did not respond positively, Sarvodaya picked a quarrel with her. When mother Kalyani Shettigarthi intervened to stop the tussle, Sarvodaya allegedly pushed his mother. Mother says that she has been injured.

Kalyani went to Manipal police station to lodge a complaint. She has told the police that her son threatened that he would kill her if his jeans pant was not returned. He even allegedly said that he would burn the cupboard if his jeans pant is not found.
