Body of missing Mumbai entrepreneur found near Punjalkatte

Beltangady, Apr 12: The decomposed mortal remains of a man were found from a hillock at Bardail in Eliyanadugodu village near Punjalkatte on Monday April 11. The body was identified as belonging to Sathish Shetty (42), son of the late Babu Shetty from Bardail.

The body was found with its face down at the hillock. It was completely decomposed. The identity was established on the basis of trousers and shoes found on the body, by his family members.

Satish was operating a small scale industry at Mumbai. He had come to his native place sometime back to attend annual festival. He had returned to Mumbai on March 30, but had not reached his home. His wife had filed a missing complaint in Kanakia police station in Thane district.
