Kundapur, Apr 14: A man hailing from a village near here ended his life by consuming some poisonous substance on Tuesday April 12. He has been identified as Ramesh (34), a resident of Gopady village in the taluk.
Ramesh, it is learnt, had married five years ago. He had been nursing suspicion about his wife's character since long, his neighbours said. Because of the frustration over nagging suspicion, he used to consume liquor in excessive quantities, it is said.
On Tuesday evening, he consumed some poisonous substance and committed suicide, said brother of the deceased, Ganesh, in a complaint filed in the police station here.
