Udupi: MITK to hold ‘Udyoga Mela’ on Apr 30

Udupi, Apr 16: “Moodlakatte Institute of Technology, Kundapur will be hosting ‘MITK Udyoga Mela -2016’ for the first time in Udupi district on April 30 in its college campus,” said chairman of the college, Siddharth Shetty.

Speaking at the press club Udupi on Saturday April 16, he said, “The job drive is a platform that brings together various companies, corporate houses, industries and aspirants from the different areas.”

“The MITK Udyoga Mela aims at building a strong bridge between the current employment opportunities offered by a fast growing economy and the job aspirants. Recruiters from different industries spread across sectors like agriculture, manufacturing, retail, automobile, IT, BPO’s, finance, banking/Insurance, telecom, engineering, hospitality and construction will be invited.” 

“Udyoga Mela aims at connecting thousands of unemployed rural and semi-urban youths to the opportunities offered by a fast growing economy.” 

He further said, “The Institute has a sole aim of helping the job aspirants of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts and to bring the youths to the main stream. A platform is created wherein employers could choose suitable youths for their company as potential employees. Therefore, the MITK management are intending to organize this mega job fair.”

MITK is located in the beautiful green belt of coastal Karnataka, adjacent to the Kundapur Railway Station at Moodlakatte. It is just four kilometres away from the town of Kundapur, 30 kilometres west from Kollur, 100 kilometres away to north from Mangaluru and 400 kilometres away from the state capital Bengaluru. 

The Udyoga Mela 2016 is open to both skilled and unskilled youth, with varying levels of educational qualifications.

More than 20 reputed companies would participate in the job fair. More than 1000 job aspirants would participate in the fair. Prominent companies that will participate in the job fair are Infosys, Accenture, Mphasis, Hinduja Golobal Solutions, Wipro, Genisys, Vodafone, Prestige Group, Bharath Automotives, Purvankara, Suzlon, Billionsmiles, Hospitality Pvt Ltd, TVS Training, Y Services Ltd, Softech Design Solutions Pvt Ltd, Nutech Software Pvt Ltd, Teamalease, Edu group, Daffodils, Flo-Learning Solutions, SV Infra, Regeneriesis, Orient Bell, Bhima Jewellers and others.

Registration is free for candidates. The candidates will be guided at MITK Udyoga Mahiti Kendra. Selected candidates will get offer letters on the spot.
