M'luru: Oscar Fernandes meets family of slain RTI activist Vinayak Baliga

Mangaluru, Apr 16:  Member of Rajya Sabha, Oscar Fernandes on Saturday April 16, visited the residence of RTI activist Vinayak Baliga who was murdered by miscreants.

He expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased.

Speaking to Daijiworld, he said that three suspects are already arrested in connection with the murder and the government is urged to arrest the main accused.

Denying that the home minister is indulging in politics to prevent the arrest of the main accused, he said that he will be visiting the home minister and urge for the arrest.

He also assured that he will be requesting the government to pay compensation to the family of the deceased.
