Bengaluru: Agents waiting to help PU paper leak culprits

Bengaluru, Apr 24: Multi-crore PU paper leak scandal has reached another milestone with agents offering services to the culprits to keep away from the action from law.

Criminal investigations department (CID) has been trying hard to get the complete picture of the scam. While few arrests have been made, it is yet to apprehend the main accused. It is believed that several colleges and their management are involved in the scam. So they are naturally worried that CID will know about it and come to them one day.

The anxiety of the culprits gives opportunities for some agents to spread their business. Accordingly these agents have been contacting college managements with the promise that they would make sure that the CID does not take up the matter. They are claiming that they have good contacts in CID. In return for their ‘services’ they demand huge money as remuneration.

CID which knows about this development has sent a public notice that if anybody is approached by these agents or if any person has any information on these agents, they can contact CID on 9480800123 or mail information to alertcid@ksp.gov.in . CID has said that they will keep the names of the callers secret. CID also has said stern action will be taken against these agents.

shame on us and our system. our own people coming forward to help the culprits... OMG. No threat or fear of law at all. or else how dare they come forward in this scary situation... CID is investigating and almost revealed the crime going on. instead of whole state stand united to stop this scam and arrest the criminals behind, agents are offering counter proposals to safeguard the culprits... wow... pity on our system.
