Mangaluru, May 4: Entrepreneur M Krishna Bhat inaugurated the PG-level inter-collegiate management fest 'Edify 2016' on the theme 'Startup revolution' at MSNM Besant Institute of Postgraduate Studies here on Tuesday May 3.

In his inaugural address, he said, "Startup has become the player of the season. Many say that when you start a venture you earn a lot of money. But in reality, there are many problems. But if you have the right ideas, you will have more solutions than problems. We must have the agility to change our products as per the market requirements. With right ideas, you will always succeed. I hope at least 50 percent of the students here will come up with startups and light up India."

President of Women's National Education Society, Mangaluru, Kudpi Jagadish Shenoy told the students, "Concentrate all your ability and efforts on executing the ideas you have. Success is a journey and not a destination. Success can be achieved only through the hard work."

Staff co-ordinator Deeksha Shetty gave a brief talk about the fest and the theme.

Director of the College Dr Narayana Kayarkatte welcomed the gathering while student co-ordinator Sanath Kumar rendered the vote of thanks. Deekshitha compered the programme.

Staff coordinator Prof Vinay Krishna, student coordinator Chaitra and others were present.
