Bengaluru, May 5: Konkani Revival Group which is part of BCCRS (Bangalore Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services) of Archdiocese of Bengaluru is organizing Pentecost Night Vigil in Konkani on Saturday May 14 at 9.00 pm to 5.30 am at St Joseph’s Commerce College Auditorium Near StPatrick’s Church. Bengaluru.


Like Every year Archdiocese of Bangalore celebrates birthday of the Church and the feast of the Holy Spirit through a prayerful Pentecostal Night Vigil at St Patric’s Church in the heart of the city . On the Pentecost after the resurrection of Jesus, the Holy Spirit, according to the Acts of the Apostles, descended on the disciples in the form of tongues of fire accompanied by the sound of a rush of wind, and gave them the power of speaking in such a way that people of different languages could understand them. In Bengaluru, after the Night Vigil which was conducted in five different languages in the same campus (Konkani, English, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam) starts to speak in one single language, the language of love. during the Multilingual Eucharistic Celebration of Holy Mass at 3.30am by Dr Bernanrd Moras Archbishop of Bengaluru.

Fr Roman Pinto from Shivamoga diocese will be sharing word of God followed by anointing session along with Fr Praveen Pinto OCD, Fr Richard Menezes and Fr Praveen D’souza OFM.Cap. Praise and worship led by Konkani Worship Team from Divine Retreat Center, Potta. Talented singer Prajoth D’sa will be leading the crowd with Worship songs.

BCCRS Konkani Revival Prayer Group invites all the Konkani families in Bengaluru to experience the Pentecost blessings.

Transport facility for pickup and drop will be arranged from respective parishes from sharp 7 pm onwards.
