Bantwal, May 6: District-in-charge minister B Ramanatha Rai directed the contractors to complete work under Namma Grama Namma Rasthe projects before monsoons.

After visiting selected Namma Grama Namma Rasthe project sites in Bantwal legislative constituency on Friday May 6, he said, “Locals had objected at some places regarding the project which has been sorted out and some of the demands of people are also met.”

Directing the contractors to maintain quality of road work, he asked them to complete the work before monsoon.

In a day long road programme, he inspected roads at Nalkemar Bambila of Amtadi gram, Badakabailu Kalai road development work, Sanooru Padavu Kolathamajalu road development work, Shuntihitlu Kalleri road development work and Manchi gram Motimaru Manchi road development work.

Zilla panchayat members Chandraprakash Shetty, M S Mohammed, Akrama Sakrama committee president Mayilappa Salian, Mangaluru circle panchayat raj senior engineer Ramakrishna, Namma Grama Namma Rasthe project engineer Jayananda Poojary, contractor K M Girish Kumar and Sudhakar were present.
