Beltangady: Man kills wife at Kadirudyavara

Beltangady, May 7: A man allegedly murdered his wife at Kanarpa Kumeru in Kadirudyavara village in the taluk with a sickle.

The murdered woman has been identified as Kusumavathi (30), wife of Annu Gowda alias Jayananda Gowda. Reasons which prompted Jayananda to kill his wife are as yet unknown.

Kusumavathi has left behind twins.

Jayananda, who has been accused of killing his wife, reportedly was working at Mumbai since the last several years. He had recently changed job and was working in a lodge, reports said.
