M'luru: Samajwadi Party meeting to strengthen presence in city

Mangaluru, May 7: "Laying emphasis on strengthening and organizing the Samajwadi party in Dakshina Kannada district and emphasizing the various problems of the city, the party will hold a district level party meet on Tuesday May 10 at Town Hall," announced Harsha V Gowda, state vice president of Yuvajana Sabha of the Samaj. The announcement was made at a press meet here on Saturday May 7.

He also stated that prior to the convention there will be a padayatra (march) from Kankanady to Town Hall. State leaders and party representatives will take part in the march and convention."

The party will also organize a cycle jatha'(rally) at all district centers of the state and party registration in the entire state.

He demanded that the government provide all the facilities to the farmers at susidized rates as well as provide employment opportunities to the unemployed youth.

K R Mohammed Ajad, president of Samajwadi party Dakshina Kannada, Shareef and Hussain were present at the meet.
