Mangaluru: Hit by lorry, scooterist dies

Mangaluru, May 9: A person who as riding his scooter died after a truck hit him from behind. The incident occurred on Friday near Malali Matti Cross at Kaikamba.

The victim has been identified as Raghavendra. Raghavendra was moving towards Gurpur from Kaikamba Junction when a truck coming from behind hit him at Malali Matti, Kaikamba Cross. He died on the spot.

The driver of the truck fled after the accident. Bajpe police have registered the case and begun investigation.
