Mangaluru: Bishop D'Souza inaugurates road at Pastoral Institute

Mangaluru, May 16: The concrete road at Pastoral Institute constructed with the help of J R Lobo, MLA and Ivan D'Souza, MLC was inaugurated and blessed by bishop Dr Aloysius Paul D'Souza on Sunday May 15.






After the inauguration a short felicitation programme was organized at the hall. Both the ministers along with the corporator of the area Keshav, felicitated the bishop by cutting the cake specially prepared for the occasion of 20 years of Episcopate of the bishop.

Addressing the gathering Ivan expressed his gratitude for the special love that he received from the bishop and stressed the relevance of the concrete road for the pastoral institute where people come for training. He congratulated the bishop on the occasion.

J R Lobo congratulating bishop said bishop is the leader for the entire society and a role model too; known for doing good to all, but sometimes he has to face suffering for being good also.

Bishop in his remarks appreciated the joint efforts of both catholic ministers in the construction of concrete road at Pastoral Institute which has long felt the need.

As a sign of gratitude the bishop offered flowers to all the dignitaries on the dais and the contractor. Fr Peter D'Souza, director Pastoral Institute welcomed the guests, Fr Vijay Machado director Mangala Jyothi compered the programme.
