M'luru: Yeyyadi-Konchadi SFI, DYFI units hold children's summer camp

Mangaluru, May 19: SFI and DYFI units at Yeyyadi-Konchadi held a free five-day summer camp for children from May 10 to 15. Craft and drawings were on display, songs were sung and skits were performed in the concluding programme held on May 15.

LIC development officer Manoj Kumar speaking at the programme said that the hidden talents of children can be identified at summer camps like this. He added that the work of SFI and DYFI organizations
holding summer camps and converting the power of thinking among young children towards society is praiseworthy.

Chief guest of the programme, SFI district president Nithin Kuthar said that summer camps are conducive to the development of personality among children. Parents of the children who encouraged them to participate in the camp need to be commended.

DYFI Yeyyadi - Konchadi unit president Ganesh Koppalakadu presided over the programme. Padmanabha Konchadi, Yathish from SFI were on the dais. Children Sunetra Gundalike welcomed the gathering. Madhura Koppalakadu compered the programme. Shruthi, Dakshayini, Tripthi, Shreya, Sadik, Dikshit and other participants expressed their feelings. Nikhil proposed the vote of thanks.
