Udupi, Oct 27: TIFAC-CORE Meet-2007 organized by Manipal Life Sciences Centre of Manipal University was inaugurated here on Friday October 26.

Further according to him development without security is vulnerable and security without development is meaningless. There are two important criterions for the development of nation, one is capital energy consumption and second is female literacy, he informed in this context. India he felt is developed only when quality of rural India becomes comparable to non urban areas of developed countries.

On this occasion pro chancellor of Mangalore University Dr H S Ballal presided over the function. Pepsi co-executive vice president Dr N Bhatia, vice chancellor Dr R P Warrier and National Research professor and advisor of Manipal University Dr M S Valaithan were present.
