Mangaluru: Sahyadri student Prajna ranked fourth in MBA exams

Mangaluru, May 26: Prajna A (2013-2015 batch) student of Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management bagged the fourth rank in the MBA examinations conducted by Visvesvaraya Technical University (VTU), Belagavi.

She will be awarded with a gold medal in the presence of the governor at the 15th Annual convocation of VTU in Belagavi on May 27.

She achieved the fourth rank by scoring 79.08% marks. It’s a proud moment for Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management as Prajna A is the only candidate to secure a rank in the entire Mangaluru region. 

Prajna was recruited by KPMG through campus placement and currently working as associate 1. She is handling investment related audit-specific to clients ‘Prudential Funds’ and NB Alternatives Primary Funds and also core EGPA process- e-Audit GDC procedure analysis.

Dr Manjunath Bhandary, chairman, trustees and management of Sahydari College of Engineering & Management congratulated Prajna for her excellent  academic performance.

    Having met a few bright and enterprising students of Sahyadri, and also having known a few bright and ever-willing capable Professors of Sahyadri who give their very best to the prestigious University at Adyar, I am very confident that Sahyadri will turn out to be on the forefront of many more distinctions of Academic achievements in the future.

    India has been giftred with some of the best brains, and when India is also blessed with some of the best Education Institutes, the long term benefit to the Community is indeed promising.
