Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, May 27: Sudha Murthy, whose name had cropped as a possible candidate for Rajya Sabha seat from JDS, clarified that she has always distanced herself from politics and her clear stand on this issue has not undergone any change. She said she does not want to be identified with any particular political outfit and that is why she does not want to become a Rajya Sabha member.

Sudha Murthy said she has made it clear to the concerned that she is not comfortable with politics. While personally she feels that it would be better if Karnataka is represented in Rajya Sabha by Kannadigas, she refuses to pass comments against stands taken by political parties on this issue. She feels that she can continue to serve the society well even when staying away from corridors of power and politics.
