Mangaluru : Protesters to mob MLA's house demanding Naresh Shenoy's arrest

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Jun 4: Some organizations have decided to lay siege to the residence of local MLA, J R Lobo, demanding immediate arrest of Naresh Shenoy, main accused in the murder case of RTI activist from here, Vinayak P Baliga, on March 21 this year near his residence.

The protesters will meet at Collectors Gate Balmatta, and take out a procession from there to the MLA's house at 10.30 am on Monday June 6.

Muneer Katipalla, convener of Patriotic Organizations Forum, a joint forum of organizations like Democratic Youth Federation of India, Dalit Sangharsh Samiti, Students Federation of India, All India Youth Federation, Rationalists Forum etc, said that it has been decided to intensify the agitation. Through a release, he said that the police department has failed to arrest Naresh Shenoy and some other accused in the case even after lapse of over two months since the crime was executed. "Naresh Shenoy has been trying to get anticipatory bail, and the people strongly suspect that the state government is helping him to secure bail. Therefore, it has been decided to follow up the matter through concerted pressure and agitational programmes,"he clarified.

These true Congress Bhakts get touchy when their own person is taken to task. If BJP rule was there they would accuse the CM. But here none of these Bhakths have any accusation against Nidraramaih.

Praveen you want PM to solve every problem including your personal problem if any. So why have a state government here. Ask for its dissolution and go for central rule. Heee heee .

IF THERE IS A SOLID INTENT, ACCUSED WOULD HAVE BEEN APPREHENDED LONG AGO!

HE CAN BE PROCLAIMED AS AN ABSCONDER, TO SURRENDER WITHIN A CERTAIN PERIOD OF TIME OR HIS PROPERTIES WILL BE ATTACHED, THERE IS THIS PROVISION IN OUR LAW, AND THERE ARE MANY INSTANCES WHERE IT HAS BEEN ENFORCED!

MORE THAN 2 MONTHS, ACCUSED AT LARGE SHOWS THAT ACCUSED IS BUYING TIME TILL SUCH TIME HE DOES NOT LAND IN JAIL AND BE D INNOCENT!

IF THIS IS THE FATE OF HI PROFILE CASES, SHUDDER TO THINK WHAT WOULD HAPPENED IF A COMMON MAN WAS THE VICTIM!

WHERE IS SO CALLED GOD & HIS JUSTICE??

Idiotic behavhiour by these protestors. How is JR Lobo involved with this Naresh Shenoy? Is he hiding him in his house?. He is a BJP worker and recently Ramanath Rai announced that that Nalini Kumari's driver was involved. Why not take your protest to Nalini Kumari's door. Are thes people so foolish not to distinguish which party Shenoy belongs to? Arresting some one is Police job.

It is about time that we have a change of leadership. The beleagured CM is involved in controversies every other day. The latest being a personal loan of 1.3 crore. Just imagine. We have useless sachivas, & MLAs whose only agenda is minority appeasement & vote bank politics. They are corrupt, arrogant, & communal. Cong is known for their lawlessness, to this day Kaluburgis killers are not arrested even after 6 months. What can you then expect of commoners?

There are criminals n thieves in Kaangress, but it is OK as their party image is not so clean. But, BAJPA'rds are saints. They should not kill, loot or rape. But, now we are seeing, they are in competition with Kaangress!
