Sullia, Jul 16: In two separate incidents, two people ended their lives here.
Ranjith, son of Dileep Kumar Gowda, residing in Peralu Mudooru in Mandekolu village in the taluk hanged himself from a ceiling fan in a lodge at Gandhinagar in the town. He was working in a lodge at Subrahmanya as room boy. He had visited his home 15 days back and left with the stated purpose for reporting back to work. He hired a room in a lodge in the town on July 10 for unknown reasons. The purpose of committing suicide is not clear.
Chandrashekhar (43), son of the late Krihsna Naik from Mandekolu committed suicide by hanging from the roof beam. His wife had filed police complaint a week back about domestic violence suffered at the hands of her husband. Policemen had summoned him to police station and sent back after giving him advice. on Thursday July 14, he unexpectedly committed suicide.
