Udupi, Jul 27: In an accident involving a motor bike and an autorickshaw which occurred near Borgalgudde on Dendurkatte-Moodubelle road near Kaup on Tuesday July 26, a father-daughter duo suffered injuries.
Laveena Alva (21), and her father, Eliyas Alva, residents of Hudco Colony of Shivalli village were injured in this accident.
Laveena Alva was riding her Suzuki Swish two-wheeler towards Moodubelle with father, Eliyas Alva, in the pillion, when an autorickshaw coming from the opposite direction moved to the extreme right side of the road and hit her two-wheeler head-on.
Laveena suffered injuries to her right shoulder and forehead, while her father suffered fracture of the waist. Both were admitted into Manipal Hospital. A case stands registered against the autorickshaw driver in Kaup police station.
