Hassan, Jul 28: The government, on Wednesday July 27, asked the concerned to continue Vijaya, who had recently attempted suicide, as subdivisional officer for the present.
A few days back, the government had transferred Vijaya as administrative officer of the government medical college here. Vijaya had approached Karnataka Administrative Tribunal and secured stay order against her transfer, but by then Dr H L Nagaraju had taken over charge as assistant commissioner (AC).
As this had created confusion, the district administration had asked the state government for directions.
