Koppal, Aug 3: In an incident which occurred in Hamalara Colony area of the town on Tuesday August 2, a man reportedly fled after crushing his wife and three-month-old child to death with a LPG cylinder. As per reports, these murders were dowry related.

Munni Begum (25), and her three-month-old female child, Raheena, lost their lives in this savagely act.

Sulaiman Ansari, resident of Kushtagi, had come to the home of his in-laws at Hamalara Colony here with wife and child. On Tuesday morning, he pestered his wife for pressurizing her father to part with more dowry. She was reluctant. He then asked his wife to make tea for him. When she was away, he killed his baby with the help of a LPG cylinder found there.

In a complaint filed in the police station here by Amjad Khan, brother of the deceased woman, Sulaiman gave tea laced with poison to his wife and then hit her with the LPG cylinder, causing her instant death.

Sulaiman, it is said, worked as security guard for a bank. The police have registered a case and investigation has been set into motion.

Sick guy who took his wife for a piggy bank!

Merciless animal should be done away with as fast as possible.

The merciless animal who snuffed out the life of a helpless three month old should not see the next sunrise after he is captured.
