Kundapur: Tanker hits bike at Halady, rider dies on spot

Kundapur, Aug 11: A gas cylinder carrying tanker hit a bike at Halady circle in the taluk and as a result the bike rider died on Thursday, August 11.




Chandra Madiwala (40) from Halladi is the person deceased.

Chandra Madiwala had gone to his wife’s house at Yadamakki on Wednesday night and was returning to Halladi on Thursday morning. When a gas tanker hit his bike while on the way, Chandra Madiwala died instantly as the impact was severe.

Chandra Madiwala was a sole bread winner for his family. He sold ice candy during the day on a bicycle and the evening he ran a fast food business. The family is devastated by his death.

A case stands registered at Shankaranarayana police station.
