Udupi: Veigas Events to present musical extravaganza ‘Freedom Blast’ on Aug 19

Udupi, Aug 18: For the first time in city, Veigas Events will present ‘Freedom Blast’ to entertain people at Mahatma Gandhi open theatre, Beedinagudde Udupi on Friday August 19 from 4 pm onwards.

The most popular DJ Teri Miko will rock the stage with her lively music along with DID dancing star artistes Dharmesh Yelande, Tulu film superstar Arjun Kapikad, album maker Nayeem and many more familiar faces.

Teri Miko is one of Ukraine’s finest exports, exploding onto the electronic music scene as one of the most exciting artistes. She is unquestionably one of the most in demand and popular DJ at present.

A very stylish dancer, actor and choreographer Dharmesh Yelande will entertain the audience with his unique dancing steps. He has participated in Dance India Dance (season 2), Dance India Dance Li'l Masters, and Dance Ke Superstars, all of which were telecast on Zee TV.He has worked in the 3D dance-based Indian film ABCD (Anybody Can Dance) and its sequel ABCD 2. He runs his own dance academy in Vadodara (AKA Baroda) known as the D'virus Dance Academy.

Dynamic star in Tulu industry Arjun Kapikad will also rock the stage. He has acted in more than eight films including Kannada films. He bagged ‘Best Emerging’ actor award in Tulu Cinemotsava-2015.

The emerging Bollywood choreographer Jimmy Raval and a famous album maker Nayeem will grace the show on Friday night.

People will get a change to witness enthralling music and dance performances by professional dance artistes. No doubt, it will be a fun-filled evening for city people.

Pramod Madhwaraj, Minister of fisheries, sports and youth affairs, Karnataka government will inaugurate the show, while Oscar Fernandes, member of Rajya Sabha and Shobha Karandlaje, MP Udupi Chikkamagluru will be present during the award ceremony.
