Bengaluru: Siddaramaiah moots 5 Vision sub-groups for industrial development

Bengaluru, Aug 21: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has suggested formation of five sub-groups of the Vision Group for Industrial Development as part of the plans to remove all infrastructural bottlenecks.

The first meeting of Vision Group under the Chairmanship of the Chief Minister was held on Saturday.



The Vision Group discussed necessary measures to be taken up for promoting industrial growth in the State.

Siddaramaiah suggested formation of sub-groups for infrastructure development at the state-level; infrastructure development in Bengaluru; manufacturing, including automobile and aerospace; textile and garments; and electronics and e-commerce.

These groups will comprise of members within the Vision Group and work out action plan for short-term measures required for further growth of industrial sectors, which could have been taken up within a period of five to six months.

Apart from industrialists, Major and Medium Industry Minister R V Deshpande and Tourism and IT/BT Minister PriyankKharge attended the meeting.

    I appreciate CM Siddaramaiah government sincere efforts.

    The state should concentrate more agri,aerospace,defence and non conventional energy.

    They should divide state into four zones,aerospace should made investment in Hassan,Agri to Shimoga and Hubli,Non conventional in Hyderabad border and defence in North Canara.

    Bangalore is too crowded at this point.The state should be equally divided in terms investment.

    do u think that will ever happen....almost 30000 crore worth MoU has been signed...but no progress..karnataka is a expert state in getting MoU worth tonnes...but implementation is BIG 0 from dharam signh to HDK to YEDDY to Siddu...none can SMK...

    Despite all its shortcomings, Siddu's government is making sincere efforts to fast-forward Karnataka's progress and welfare of its people. Hope all progressive citizens support the State Govt. in achieving its Vision.

    Some parties need outside people for propaganda,but our Lion doesn't need anyone.He goes on and on,a real man,a real politician,who is hell bent in making Karnataka the most superior state of India.We are always with you Siddhuji.We aim for human class governance and set free from central cattle class governance.

    Today if anyone talks negative about Siddu government, then they are like a frog in the well!!!. Some time back central government said Karnataka is number one state in implementing central schemes and use of funds. Later another report said our state is number one in FDI in general and also no 1 in FDI in IT sector. In all cases Gujarat and BJP ruled states are left behind!. This government is the best so far. BJP government in Karnataka destroyed everything including peace and even today they are doing the same!. Bakhts eat burnol!
