No doubt and without any prejudice, irrespective of any religion say, Hinduism, Islam or Christianity, if a tree, cross or anything, which comes on the way poses danger to people should be trimmed and removed.

    This is my view please.

Agree with you Francis ! Absolutely irrelevant of religious bias/favour !

The population is growing, vehicles are increasing, we need broader roads. If we keep our place of worship in-between the roads, even reaching upto them would be impossible someday !

I see that the road is passing just under the tree. No wonder there have been protests from removing/trimming this tree and certainly worship was going on, as per what is appearing around/below it.

Where are the religious heads who preach that a Peepal tree with more than hundred leaves is not to be cut ? How do they deal with problems such as this ? Will they consider the injured as having bad omen ?

I agree trees are not to be destroyed but doing away with forest are is OK with us as compared to trees considered religiously sacred hindering road/highway set up.

Please come up with the proof that there was attempt to trim the tree and certain religion people opposed it. Don't Imagine and write some non sense to offend other religion. Even your religion has same non senses

    hemanth,

Why do you want location based feed-back gentleman ? Look at 'Kadri' junction ! Parallel is being created because the efforts reach dead ends to remove a Peepal tree with 'Katte' around it.

Yeyyadi is no different. If people were a bit cooperative, the road you see would have been the Airport road today !
