Udupi: CID police question family members of slain Bhaskar Shetty

Udupi, Aug 21: Criminal investigation department (CID) officials have been going ahead with the task of questioning relatives of murdered businessman, Baskar Shetty, and recording their statements. The questioning continued on Saturday at the government guest house at Bannanje here.

Some Bunt community leaders were also summoned to the guest house for gathering information.

In the meanwhile, district president of Tulunada Rakshana Vedike, Aikalabava Chittaranjandas Hegde, said in a release that the murder case of Bhaskar Shetty is mired in mysteries. "Unseen hands seem to have been involved with this case including officials of certain departments. Investigation has derailed since the beginning. The police should subject the accused who are unwilling to reveal the truth, to narco analysis test towards bringing the truth out," he stated.
