Udupi/Karkala/ Mangaluru, Aug 22 : The spirit of Konkani movie lovers has remained high despite rains in parts of Udupi and Karkala, as both theatres - Ashirvad in Udupi and Naksahtra in Karkala saw houseful shows of Konkani's sensational blockbuster 'Noshibacho Khell', a movie that has already broken all previous records in terms of collection as well as popularity and quality.

Completing 50 grand shows in the coastal region within 9 days of release, the movie continues to gain popularity day after day. The pictures show people thronging to Ashirvad theatre with their umbrellas open. This kind of love for Konkani movie has never been seen before in any part of the world, with praises pouring in for the movie from all corners.

During this Saturday and Sunday, Prabhat talkies in Mangaluru, Big Cinema multiplex in Bharath Mall, Ashirvad talkies in Udupi and Nakshatra in Karkala saw tremendous rush for the movie, and many were seen going back without getting tickets to the show.

Speaking to daijiworld, producer Henry D'Silva said, "Every member of the community is supporting the movie. I am also grateful to priests and nuns of all churches who not only encouraged people to watch the movie but also came themselves. This is very a positive news for us. It is extremely encouraged that everywhere people are talking about the movie, and every day I get calls from abroad and other parts of the country to screen it there."

Going by the current trend, the movie could create a long-lasting impact on the Konkani speaking people of the coastal belt and other parts of the world.
