Mangaluru: Gangs fight over petty issue at Krishnapura - 5 injured

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Aug 24: Two gangs fought with each other reportedly over the issue of repairing of a car. The incident occurred on Monday August 22.

It is said that Kiran (33) and Charanraj (34) had given a Maruti car to Nawaz garage at Krishnapura fourth block for repair on August 15. On Monday night, they went to the garage and asked about the car repair. Reportedly, garage owner, Nawaz, and is brother, Mustafa, behaved arrogantly with them and even attacked them.

Later, when discussions were under way to amicably settle the matter, a gang came in another vehicle, attacked five persons with lethal weapons, and escaped. After the incident, additional police have been posted in Krishnapura to stop recurrence of such incidents.

In the incident, Kiran (33), Charanraj (24), Manoj (21), Cable Praveen (36), and Naveen (36) were injured.

Father of Nawaz, in a complaint handed over to Suratkal police on Monday, said that miscreants had damaged vehicles kept in the garage and equipment. Police have been investigating both the cases.

Car which was given for repair must have been taken for test driving? Such things usually do happen. (misusing the vehicle, with fuel for some purpose)
    Yeh toh honai tha.
Now pls settle the matter amicably.
    enough is enough.

What one can say about the law and order in Karnataka, when you dare not ask for your own car from the garage where you have kept for service?

First don’t even do the repair, abuse them, then attack with swords and attempt to murder. Later give false complaint that garage vehicles damaged and show some junk vehicle to the police as proof. super idea.

Such rouges are in plenty and they have full political support. Seems like they may not carry valet but they don’t miss carrying swords with them. Unless there is political support, such terrorism wont stop.
And I know the sicklars living in the rat holes will only support the scoundrels and try to put blame on the victims or try to divert on some other murder.

Rajesh, You are behaving as if you were the witness to the incident.

One cannot clap by one hand. We need both hands to clap.

This incident could have been avoided in a peaceful manner, but unfortunately our impatient younger minds have borrowed poisonous communal mindset from elders hence forth even for a petty issue they bring in communal color to the incidents as if they behave like they are not humans but animals.

If our younger generation carries such poisonous mindset then the future of Mangalore and coastal areas are too dangerous for human inhabitant.

Only God can change their mindset as our elders too are quite busy watching such tamasha each day instead of joining hands together to wipe out communal mindset.
