Bengaluru, Aug 25: A woman, who tried to meet her son's demand to get a Bullet motor bike as gift for his birthday found herself behind the bars instead. Because, the plan she had chosen was to steal from the house of upcoming Ranji cricketer, R Samarth.

Samarth lives in fifth main road Sanjay Nagar here. After gold and silver ornaments went missing from the house of Samarth, the family filed police complaint. Sanjay Nagar police, who registered the case, questioned the domestic help of the house, Gowri, who was working there since three years, and her son on suspicion, and came to know the truth.

Ravishankar, an executive of State Bank of India, lives in Sanjay Nagar along with son, Samarth, and other family members. Gowri happened to be a trusted person for the family because of her honesty and earnest behaviour. Ravishankar used to extend financial help to her for education of children in addition to her regular salary, while Samarth on his own paid her Rs 2,000 per month for family maintenance without the knowledge of his parents.

Gowri's son's birthday was recently celebrated. To fund his demand for a new Bullet motor bike on his birthday, she planned to steal from the house of Samarth. Taking care not to be caught, she got a duplicate key of the house made. A few days back, she called her children to inform that there was no one in the house.

Gowri and her children entered this house with the help of duplicate key. Her children,Yogesh and Deepa, opened the lockers and took out golden and diamond ornaments after the which the family fled, as per information they gave to police.

May be if she had asked her employer he would have extended a loan. I have always trusted our domestic helps. I think so far I have not been betrayed.

She is bad example to society although her employer was kind enough to help her with extra financial assistance, she was ungrateful and tried to rob very person whom helped. Because of people like her, people shy to help needy in need.

Actually lack of education reason behind to commit stealing. When given education to gal child most of the things solve in the society. Just think..what one can will do..when all the doors closed of earning. Here I don't think she is professional thief. Sometimes people even stealing from god's hundi. Things in society become worse to live. Poor become poorer..rich become richer. Cannot compete with demand of society.

@Mateen Moodubidre,it is a wrong mothers love.If son asks a bullet bike as a mother I would say ,you see I am working for our daily bread.when you have extra ordinary wishes, work like me and save the Money to buy one,you will be more happy with that .As a son sees that his mother work hard, would never ask for it.Now ?is he happy with things happened?or is angry with mother for not further financing his wishes?very bad example for the children.Bring up children with good values. Not with bad Habits.

Look how police team is proudly posing for photo making petty thieves to sit on floor, where as murderer are taken from court to star hotels for royal treat. Andhaa Khanoon. Though stealing is condemnable, feel pity for mother, especially for her love towards her son.

No one can become rich or wealthy overnight. Needs determination, hard work, sincerity, humanity, elders prayers/blessing and above all 'Gods mercy and Blessings'
Do good things if possible but do not try to harm others intentionally.

    Karma follows. ( I believe)
