Manipal University welcomes students to dawn of new learning culture

Dubai, Aug 31: Manipal University in the city welcomed their freshmen batch of 2016-17 to their campus in Academic City during an aureate freshmen orientation event held on August 27 and 28.


Born as the result of a noble and pioneering vision of its founder, Padma Shri Dr T M A Pai, Manipal education has changed the landscape of education and healthcare in India and other parts of the world. The freshmen orientation programme was attended by Dr Narayana Sabhahit, registrar of Manipal University, Dr G K Prabhu, director of MIT, Manipal and Dr Raveendranath Nayak, director - School of Business, Manipal, India accompanied by Prasanna Kailaje, head of alumni relations.

The orientation programme witnessed the launch of EduNXT, the revolutionary Learning Management System (LMS) that provides exemplary learning experience to the students, suitably aided by cutting edge technology. EduNXT, the award winning Unified Learning Solutions Framework serves as the backbone for the entire student lifecycle, facilitating collaborative learning, a high level of engagement and overall, a great academic experience.

Speaking on the occasion, Ravi Panchanadan, CEO – Manipal Education (MENA) FZ LLC and CEO - MeritTrac said, “To promote an entrepreneurial culture and to foster innovation, path-breaking concepts and ideas by the students are nurtured and part funded in our Incubation Center. Manipal Dubai also boasts of a full-fledged Career Development Center that focuses not just on the employability quotient of the students, but also makes them ready to face the challenges in the corporate world.”
