Kasargod: IS link- NIA team takes woman into custody

Kasargod, Sep 8 (DHNS): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday took Yasmin Ahmed of Bidar, a suspect in connection with recruitment of several youths from Kasargod to the IS, to custody for further investigation.

Yasmin was arrested by the Kerala police from New Delhi airport while attempting to leave for Kabul on July 31.

It is said that she is the second wife of main suspect Abdul Rashid, who is behind the recruitment of youths to the IS. The NIA team has taken her to Kochi for further interrogation.

The NIA team is camping in Hosadurga to investigate the case of the IS link and missing youths from Kasargod.

    Mr Mahendra,

Our nation already fell into trouble way back in December 1992 (06.12.1992) when a horrifying and shocking incident took place. An incident so gruesome, sick and unbelievable that whole world condemned it.

What we see now – rise in terrorism - is the consequences of that incident.

Now I am sure I will get more 'disagree' tick marks from those who find it hard to digest the truth. Truth is like bitter medicine.

Unless one started reading news paper from 1992, this looks really funny.

Some 20 thougsand hindus were butchered in 1920s in the name of some kalipha of Turkey, not even connected to india.
Millions killed during independence. Yet again in 1971, bangla hindus were killed like street dogs.
In 1988, Kashmir pundits pulled out of their own home and were hacked to death in thousands.
Late 80s have seen sick teorism. Rajiv Gandi was killed by terrorist before 1992.

Just a few examples. You don’t want to call all these rouges as terrorist? Any better name? May be peaceful hardworking gentlemen?
Only fools will come up with theory that the world was all goody goody until 1992 happened.

In that we you may ask me to blame our own parents for being what they are, not Tata/Bata/Ambanis. Cherish the free land and enrich it gentleman, not not destroy it by surrendering to terrorism !

As for partition, better it happened else India's population would have been ten times more than it is now and poverty to abject bottom. Fitting vermin are separated and are fighting among themselves and perishing !

    Roshan,

So you are back to good old british bashing. But i want to remind you that you have just gone back far enough in history to pick reason that you think justifies your point.

Just imagine an alternate timeline where brits have not colonized india. what would have happened. remember that the whole subcontinent had several kingdoms. they mostly hated each other and went to war constantly. now this being the case the whole country would not have been unified. so if you come back to modern era, india would have been actually different countries, probably many of them would have been ruled by monarch.

Love it or hate it, India is what it is today because of British colonization.

There was no country or kingdom called India before the arrival of the British. Bharat Varsh was an imaginary concept just as in the Middle East they call Arab nationalism which doesn’t practically exist. If British had not come, today there wouldn’t have been a nation called India. Therefore the British had contributed in the unification of India. Partition is the negative effect of unification.

On your point reg heaven. In my view heaven and hell are entirely human imagination. For the argument sake lets believe it exits. Even then if killing some innocents non believer gives me credit point to enjoy heaven with all that 72 abcd, then I prefer go to hell.. I certainly cannot enjoy that heaven after beheading innocents just for not following my faith, my god.. that kind of medieval thoughts don’t fit to my belief. I am taught that even a righteous non believer needs to be respected and a wicked believer has to be punished. We don’t segregate people among believer and non believer when it comes to judgment. Our segregation if any is wickedness vs innocence regardless of the amount of prayers he or she does. Hope that is clear

While I agree that everyone even for obvious cases, has to get punished only after trail. But there are encounters that happens when there is no alternative. In Batla for instance, the terrorist fired bullet and killed a police inspector. So the police had to retaliate and kill the terrorist. And in Inshrat case, intelligence input was that she and her associates were on the way to kill the CM. police thwarted it and killed them instead. Paki terrosits have hailed her.. even then we call it fake encounter in every election time? Don’t you see the designs here?

Because Babar demolished a temple and built Babri Masjid, temple goers demolished Babri Masjid. In retaliation, Bombay riots happened, Dawood/Memons were created. Dawood fled the country and funded all those who followed afterwards to flood into India to take revenge. In the process Pragnya/Aseemanand were born to do their part of service !

How long will this continue ? For a person death is permanent ? Why not live/let live in peace until life is in hands ? Why kill untimely ? Why kill self also in the process (suicide bomb) of killing others ??

    Zeitgeist,

India is a place that houses all religions alike and never discriminates in providing bread/medicine/education to any citizen. In such a place, there is the lady mentioned in the news here as well as the likes of Pragnya/Aseemanand.

What is unfortunate is that both these groups exist between people who got nothing to do with them, from both groups. Irony is that such hardcore get formed by respective religious ideologists to kill randomly. Always, innocent victims came from both groups.

Ironically, people who have nothing to do with these people too get tagged along as terrorists just because they are from a certain community.

Unlike countries based on religion, India is different - India is house to all. Paradoxically, they are not sparing even INDIA, a land of multi-religions !
