Udupi: College student goes missing - complaint filed

Udupi, Sep 22: Sumitra (18), daughter of Shanta, resident of Convent Road Silver Sand at Kadabettu, Moodanidambur village, has gone missing. Reportedly, the teenager, who left her home at 9 am on September 19 with the stated purpose of attending college, has not been seen thereafter.

Sumitra was a first year BCom degree course student of a college in the city. A missing complaint has been filed in the town police station here about her disappearance.

The missing student is of normal build, 4'5" tall, round faced, with wheatish complexion. She was wearing blue trousers and red checked shirt when she left home. She can converse in Kannada. The Udupi town station police have requested people having any information on her to convey the same to them.
