Mangaluru, Sep 23: “Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) is observing Swachh Rail Swachh Bharat- Swachh Saptah from September 17 to 25,” informed Sudha Krishnamurthy, manager public relations here at Konkan Railway office on Friday September 23.

Addressing the media persons, Sudha said, “We have been getting good response for Swachh rail facility. It is helping us to serve the travellers better.”

“As a part of this campaign various activities such as clean environment, clean station, clean train, clean water, clean complex, cleanliness participation, cleanliness dialogue, dedication for ensuring cleanliness and aim to cater hygiene food awareness on these issues were conducted across the week taking each subjects each day. Necessary actions were also taken so that these are followed by the railway staff."

“This is part of the Swachh Bharat - Swachh Rail Mission of our Prime Minister and Minister of Railways,” she added.
Vinay Kumar, assistant traffic manager was also present in the press meet.
