Mangaluru: Coastal Karnataka gets good rainfall

Mangaluru, Sep 25: Coastal region is getting good rainfall since the last two to three days. Various parts of Dakshina Kannada district reported good rain on Saturday.

The city received intermittent rains. Puttur and Belangady got normal rains. Mulky reported good rain, while Sullia had heavy rainfall.

In Udupi district, Manipal, Kundapur, Karkala and some other parts got some rain on Saturday evening. Showers have often been experienced in the coast since some days, as a result of which the environment is cool.

Neighbouring districts like Uttara Kannada, Chikkamagaluru and Shivamogga also reported good rainfall. The meteorological department has predicted some rain at almost all places in the coast and north inland region, and some places in southern inland region. A couple of areas in the coast may also get heavy rainfall, the department has predicted.
