St Agnes PU College conducts Hindi Day celebration

Mangaluru, Sep 26: With the aim of rekindling love for Hindi, Hindi Divas was celebrated at St Agnes PU College.

Dr Murlidhar Naik, principal, Mangalore Institute of Fashion Technology was chief guest. He inaugurated the event with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and spoke about the history and significance of Hindi and the challenges faced by it in its evolution towards becoming the national language. A classical dance, patriotic songs, a power point presentation and a quiz were the main attractions of the programme.
