Udupi: Youth ends life by consuming poison

Udupi, Sep 27: In an incident which happened on Monday September 26, a youth committed suicide by consuming poison in a thicket near his home. He has been identified as Prashanth Kulal (29) from Innanje near Kaup.

 

Kulal was working abroad till recently. He returned to his village for good sometime back, and had started working here. He went missing since Monday morning. His body was found lying in a thicket near his home on Monday evening.

 

It is suspected that frustration with life at his inability to achieve what he wanted, forced him to kill himself. He was unmarried. He has left behind mother, a brother, and a sister.

 

Kaup police have registered a case of unnatural death.
