Organ Donation Awareness Talk at Eurokids, Kaprigudda

Mangaluru, Oct 1: Dr Prashanth Marla, Consultant Urologist, Transplant Surgeon and Medical Director of A J Hospital & Research Centre gave an Organ Donation Awareness talk on September 29, as part of the week-long Festival of Giving Daan Utsav organized at Eurokids, Kaprigudda, by the school authorities.


The Festival of Giving was held from Saturday the September 24, which included various activities such as planting of saplings at Tagore Park, Mangaluru, Offering food items to the Missionaries of Charity, Mangaluru, Donating articles of food and shelter for animals cared for by the NGO – Animal Care Trust, Mangaluru, and distribution of Thank You cards to the Traffic Police Force at Mangaluru, culminating with the awareness talk on Organ Donation - the greatest gift that one can ever give, on Thursday, September 29.



The audio-visual presentation by Dr Prashanth Marla was enlightening and encouraged parents of Eurokids students, Kaprigudda to take up the pledge forms to sign up.
“Dr Prashanth Marla has managed to show us all the very human face of A J Hospital by his wonderful presentation and empathy in explaining a very delicate topic,” said the school authorities.
