Kundapur: Boy assaulted for talking to girl student, hospitalised

Kundapur, Oct 3: A student was assaulted by a fellow student for allegedly talking to a girl student of the same college. The incident took place at Bhandarkar’s College on the afternoon of Monday, October 3.

Akhif, a resident of near Gangolli post office, who studies in first year BCA, is the person assaulted and injured.

 

Akhif was coming out from exams with his friend Mazhar. Then a girl student asked Mazhar how was the exam. Mazhar replied that it was fine and then Shashikanth asked Mazhar questions for which Mazhar replied. At that time Shashikanth assaulted Akhif who was with Mazhar, this is the version given by Akhif.

Mazhar said that Shashikanth used abusive words against a lady lecturer who witnessed the incident.

It is not known what role Akhif played in the incident.

Campus Front of India has meanwhile has condemned the incident and urged the police to take necessary action.

    In case Shashikanth did not beat any one why is he absconding. Issue is required to be investigated and real culprit and his supporters/financiers/brain washers should be dealth heavily as per the law. Sangh parivar is poisoning students with hate. this is not a healthy development. Police should keep watch on such goondas and hate mongers.

    Did u found any single scratch mark on Molhalli GP president and VP's body. Still they admitted in govt. hospital for what ? Only for counter complaint. Here this boy Akhif didn't file case even. Don't justify ABVP goons goondagiri in publicly.

    Dear Flavin, Victims friends would have retaliated and beaten the goonda, but they control themselves as they did not make a big issue. However, this goonda needs proper treatment from Police so that no other goonda should do it to any one. College should debar such goondas immediately. Let him serve his masters who taught him for the goondagiri in college.

    Dear Swami ji, hope u aware tat in Karnataka it's chor party govt who creating difference in community for vote banks. Don't listen to one side story and make judgments.
