Kerala ISIS suspects planned to ram a truck into public meeting

Daijiworld Media Network - Thiruvananthapuram (SP)

Kochi, Oct 4: National Investigating Agency (NIA) arrested four youth from the state for suspected links with ISIS on Monday October 3 from Tirunelveli and Coimbatore. Six were arrested from Kannur on Sunday. It is said that ISIS was planning to ram a truck at public meeting at Kochi, target seven institutions and had a hit list of six noted personalities from the state. They had formed a chat group of 12 with some members abroad. It is said that Manseed from Kannur headed the group that was disbanded after security personnel got wind of it. He posed himself with the name, Sameer Ali, it is gathered.

Chief minister of the state, Pinarayi Vijayan, said in the assembly that he has sought setting up of an institution for providing counter intelligence and anti-terrorism training. Vijayan also stated that a close vigil is being kept on people propagating violence through social media.

It is gathered that sleuths of NIA infiltrated into the ISIS network and got information about their plans of destructive activities. It is gathered that parents and family members of the youth were unaware about their terror links. They were caught by surprise when NIA officers, who had caught hold of the chat about plan to detonate truck, arrested the youngsters.

Since they have confessed to the impending plans of committing crime, why NIA and judiciary are wasting time. Shoot and kill them in one go. None of them deserve to be alive on this earth who are dreaded enemies of mankind.

Their thoughts and ideologies are contrary to the Islamic teachings.

Human must not tolerate Violence of any form be it religious or non religious. The Homosapeans have evolved from being wild to civilised millions of years back. Now we must be matured civilisation and not go back to our ancestors who were Cannibals or Collectors. People who are religious must practice highest standard of tolerance if at all if they think their GOD exists and he created the world.

Can people living in a state with highest literacy rate be brainwashed and radicalized to such an extent?

    Mr. Tauro,

All those who got brainwashed in the past were IT Engineers. Meaning, the most literate state need not be different. When reverse religion attracts, literacy/illiteracy is immaterial.

Most unfortunate that these young men and women are lured to this ideology of hate.Parents have a great role in protecting their children. In fact the study of religion should be introduced to children only after 18 years. Children should be asked to trust in God rather than become obsessed with religion which has divided this world. Children should be taught heavy dose of humanity.

    Fantastic job by NIA.
There may be thousands more in sleeper cells all over the country.
Hand them over to the BSF or Military personnel to finish the job. Traitors do not worthy of living they must be destroyed once for all.
