Bengaluru: DySP suicide - HC adjourns hearing into appeal

Bengaluru, Oct 5: The high court, before which the appeal filed by appellants seeking to hand over the case pertaining to suicide committed by deputy superintendent of police, M K Ganapathy, to Central Bureau of Investigation, adjourned the hearing.

Father of Ganapathy,. M K Kushalappa, and brother, M K Machaiah, had approached the high court, questioning the decision of the single judge bench to reject their earlier application. The bench of the high court comprising Chief Justice, S K Mukherjee, and Justice R B Budhihal, on Tuesday, adjourned hearing into the appeal by four weeks.
