Bengaluru: Now angry Yeddyurappa wants stern action against Eshwarappa

Bengaluru, Oct 6: Angered by the acts of defiance on the part of former deputy chief minister, K S Eshwarappa, since sometime, BJP state president, B S Yeddyurappa, has asked the high command to take a firm decision about the MLC, who has been building caste-based organization, 'Sangolli Rayanna Brigade'. On the other hand, he has asked the party leaders to leave it to him so that he can decide about disciplining the veteran BJP leader.

'Formation of brigade is not a great achievement. I too am backed by a community having sizable population in the state. Many had approached me with the intention of forming organizations in my name, but I have sternly turned their requests down. No organization can be bigger than the party. Therefore, we have to stop Eshwarappa's ambitions to become a formidable leader through the brigade,' he explained.

It is gathered that Yeddyurappa met national organizing chief secretary, Ramlal, at the place where has been put up after the scheduled programmes for the day at the state executive meeting held at Belagavi ended on Tuesday October 4, and poured his heart out about his bitter feelings about Eshwarappa's initiative.
